Interoperability challenges between the Digital Conformity Credential data model (UNTP-DCC) and the data structures for the Digital Calibration Certificate (DCC) and Digital Certificate of Conformity (D-CoC)

• This publication focuses on the digitization in the field of conformity assessment. • One approach is the machine-interpretable documents attesting product conformity. • The topic here is the conceptual comparison of three data structures suitable for that. • Results are intended to support a unified digital conformity assessment ecosystem. This publication focuses on the digital transformation of the quality infrastructure (QI), particularly in the field of conformity assessment. It highlights achievements such as the development of the data structures for the Digital Calibration Certificate (DCC) and the Digital Certificate of Conformity (D-CoC), as well as Digital Conformity Credential (UNTP-DCC) data model. As DCC, D-CoC, and UNTP-DCC all represent a result document of conformity assessment, this publication addresses the challenge of harmonizing them. A comparative analysis was carried out to identify conceptual and structural similarities, with the aim of supporting the establishment of a unified digital conformity assessment ecosystem worldwide.
