Teulisna (Poikilothosia) spatula Volynkin, Černý & Huang, sp. n. https://zoobank.org/ urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act: 76172850-E0D7-4694-B21F-56D225384C32 (Figs 72, 73, 135, 174) Type material. Holotype (Figs 72, 135): male, “ Taiwan, Prov. Tai-Tung, | Hsiangyang, Police station | 2320 m, 29–30.IV. 1997. | leg. Gy.Fábián & S. T.Kovács | coll.: Museum Witt ” / “Slide | ZSM Arct. | 2021- 459♂ | A. Volynkin ” (MWM / ZSM). Paratypes. TAIWAN ISLAND: 1 male, same data as in holotype, gen. slide No.: ZSM Arct. 2021 - 351♂ (MWM / ZSM); 1 male, Hualien Co., 10 km NE of Tienchin, 24°04'N 121°20'E, M. Hreblay & P. Steger leg., gen. slide No.: ZSM Arct. 2021 - 352♂ (MWM / ZSM); 1 female, Nantou Co., 3 km SW of Tsuifeng, 24°06'N 121°10'E, M. Hreblay & P. Steger leg., gen. slide No.: ZSM Arct. 2021 - 460♀ (MWM / ZSM). Diagnosis. The forewing length is 14.0–14.5 mm in males and 17.5 mm in the female. Teulisna spatula sp. n. is morphologically similar to T. mingchyra sp. n. and the detailed comparison is provided below in the diagnosis of the latter species. Externally, the new species is also reminiscent of certain members of the T. protuberans species-group such as T. fimbriata but can be distinguished by the hindwing intensely suffused with grey. The male genital capsule of T. spatula sp. n. differs clearly from species of the T. protuberans species-group in the longer and more distally dilated valva with a narrower sacculus bearing a longer, upcurved and spatulose dilated distal process (it is short triangular in the T. protuberans species-group), and the shorter and narrower phallus bearing a small thorn-shaped dorsal carinal process directed dorsally. The female genitalia of the new species are characterised by the posterior section of the corpus bursae having a large elliptical ventral dilation. Distribution. The new species is endemic to Taiwan Island (Taitung, Hualien and Nantou Counties). Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the spatulate dilated distal saccular process of the new species. The name is a noun in the nominative singular.
