Time Dilation in VEQF_ Transactional Delay and the Emergence of Gravitational and Kinematic Effects
This paper presents a mechanistic explanation of time dilation within the Vacuum Energy Quanta Field (VEQF) framework, replacing the geometric abstraction of General Relativity with a physical model based on transactional dynamics. In VEQF, time is not a fundamental dimension but emerges from discrete transactional steps of duration Delta tau = 10^-18 s. Gravitational and kinematic time dilation arise not from spacetime curvature or Lorentz symmetry, but from delayed transactional completion due to lattice stiffness and recovery load. In high energy density regions, the compressed VEQ lattice reduces entropy and enhances energy-momentum transfer efficiency, but increases the time required for coherence restoration, slowing clock signals. Similarly, high-speed motion generates a wake of disorder, delaying subsequent transactions. This model unifies time dilation with gravitational lensing, Casimir forces, and dark matter under a single ontology: the structured vacuum. Predictions align with observations (e.g., GPS, pulsar timing), positioning VEQF as a non-quantum, alternative view of physics.
