Paper 90: Resonant Absorption and Forbidden Multipoles in the Low- CMB — A Consolidated Analysis of Planck PR3

We present a consolidated analysis of the low-multipole cosmic microwave background (CMB, 2 ≤ ℓ ≤ 12) using Planck 2018 PR3 maps. The study tests Holosphere Theory predictions of resonant (ℓ = 2, 4) and forbidden (ℓ = 5, 7) modes. A key methodological advance is the adoption of isotropy-preserving SO(3) rotation nulls, which correct earlier biases from m-shuffle procedures and provide a principled statistical baseline. Results from both SMICA and Commander show reproducible structure: minima at ℓ = 2, 4 (resonant), null behavior at ℓ = 3 (absorbed), and high p-values at ℓ = 5, 7 (forbidden). The Commander quadrupole reaches p ≈ 0.028, below the expected null floor, consistent with resonance absorption. While not yet familywise-significant, the cross-map agreement and alignment with pre-specified predictions establish reproducible, directional evidence for geometric selection rules in the low-ℓ CMB. Paper 90 therefore serves as a unified reference for low-ℓ coherence analysis, linking Planck observations to Holosphere resonance theory.
