AI Training Toolkit

The AI Training Toolkit is a practical resource developed under the project Artificial Intelligence for Youth Work (AI4YW), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union (Grant Agreement No. 2023-2-IT03-KA220-YOU-000170929). The toolkit supports youth workers in integrating Artificial Intelligence responsibly and effectively into their professional practice. It is structured in two complementary parts: Map of Tools and Assessment Matrix - A mapping and evaluation of 24 AI tools relevant to youth work. Each tool is reviewed using a comprehensive assessment matrix based on the principles of Trustworthy AI (lawful, robust, and ethical), allowing youth workers to make informed choices regarding inclusivity, privacy, accountability, and applicability. Workshop Plans and Learning Materials - Sixteen ready-to-use workshop plans designed to promote AI literacy, critical thinking, and ethical awareness among young people. Each plan includes step-by-step activities, practical exercises, and debrief prompts, making AI education engaging, interactive, and accessible. The toolkit equips youth workers with methods, tested tools, and structured activities that enhance digital literacy and empower young people to navigate AI responsibly. It contributes to fostering inclusive, ethical, and future-oriented youth work practices in line with the European vision for Trustworthy AI.
