ELECTRICAL POWER GENERATION IN AIRCRAFT AND MITIGATING ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION RISKS
This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of electrical aviation, particularly focusing on the significant advancements and ongoing challenges in the field. The relatively low energy density of present battery technology presents a formidable barrier to the construction of practical electric aircraft, unlike electric vehicles, which are already feasible. Given the finite quantity of energy on board, even minor enhancements in efficiency can lead to significant increases in range and flight duration. Consequently, the development of more effective propulsion systems and electric motors is just as critical as advancements in battery technology.Dr. Miskabe Assefa Yigezu was born in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, on September 22, 1997. He graduated from the Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (Bsc in Electromechanical Engineering), Masters degree from at Irkutsk National Technical Research University and Phd from Selinus University.
