The Entropy–Time Axiom: A New Foundation for Physics to Test
This thesis invites researchers and students to explore a unifying framework for physics built on a single idea: entropy and time advance together. From this axiom, expressed as ΔS ∝ Δt, the familiar constants of nature emerge not as independent inputs but as consequences of entropy flow. The framework introduces χ = S/t, a dynamical variable representing entropy per unit time. Gradients, curvatures, and channel utilizations of χ reproduce the major constants: the speed of light (c) as a maximal stitch rate, Planck’s constant (ħ) as minimal action per tick, Newton’s constant (G) as an entropy–gradient conversion, mass (m) as stiffness of entropy–time flow, the elementary charge (e) and fine-structure constant (α) as fractional channel allocations, Boltzmann’s constant (kB) as the conversion between entropy ticks and thermal energy, and the cosmological constant (Λ) as vacuum entropy density. Together, these results suggest that geometry, matter, forces, and cosmic evolution are all manifestations of a single principle. Rather than final answers, the work provides falsifiable handles and testable predictions, offering a foundation that others can challenge, refine, and extend.
