"Solar Flares Unveiled"
This paper presents a magnetic-information-based framework for solar flares, modeling them as coherence collapse events governed by the Wilcox Constant (κ_sun). Solar active regions accumulate magnetic energy in flux tubes, increasing Magnetic Information Density (MID) until a critical threshold is reached. Once MID exceeds κ_sun, magnetic coherence collapses, triggering electric currents, particle acceleration, and flare emissions. By extending the concept of κ from cosmic and quantum domains to solar plasma, this approach unifies magnetic pressure, electric mediation, turbulence, and inertia into a single predictive parameter. The model provides testable predictions for satellite observations (SDO/HMI, RHESSI), laboratory plasma experiments, and stellar analogues (M-dwarfs and superflares). This framework bridges magnetic geometry, plasma physics, and space weather forecasting, offering a falsifiable and predictive metric for flare initiation and intensity, while establishing MID and κ_sun as rigorous tools for understanding solar and stellar magnetic phenomena.
