Physical Reality of de Broglie Waves: A Geometric Unification of Quantum and Gravitational Phenomena
We present a geometric framework based on the physical reality of de Broglie wavelengths that unifies quantum mechanics and general relativity. Starting from the experimentally verified relation λ = h/p, we derive the fundamental equation ∇p = h∇ψ where ∇ψ = 1/∇λ represents local spacetime curvature. This approach reveals that particles are not objects in spacetime but rather are spacetime curvature patterns themselves. Using physical quantities to de-fine local coordinates, we obtain a universal metric tensor (identity matrix) and diagonal Christoffel symbols, reducing Einstein’s field equations from 256 components to 4 simple relations. This framework naturally explains quantum phenomena including energy quantization, spin-1/2, the absence of singularities, and orbital precession without invoking forces or abstract mathematical constructs. We show that taking de Broglie’s physical wavelength seriously, as Einstein originally did, leads to a complete geometric description of physicsaccessible even to high school students.
