Current accepted name Stygiophyes aldomai aldomai (Fresneda & Hernando, 1988): Fresneda, 1998: 61. Type locality Graller de les Planelles [original citation: “Graller de les Planelles (Corroncui, El Pont de Suert, Lleida)”]. Type material Holotype ♂: MZB 99-1341, type loc., 31-V-1985, J. Fresneda & J. Aldomà leg. Paratypes: MZB 99-0557 / MZB 99-0560 (35 ♂♂, 31 ♀♀), type loc., 27-VII-1986 / 27-V-1989 (trap), O. Escolà leg. Remarks Type series consisting of 64 ♂♂ and 75 ♀♀ (Fresneda & Hernando, 1988; Fresneda & Salgado, 2016). According to Fresneda & Escolà (2000), the type series also has a further 14 specimens and 15 remains, also identified as paratypes on the record card of Escolà’s data file.Although this material should be deposited in the MCNB collection (Fresneda & Escolà, 2000; Fresneda & Salgado, 2016), its location currently remains unknown. The MCNB collection has 36 ♂♂ (including a holotype) and 31 ♀♀; however, Fresneda & Hernando (1988) report the deposit in this collection of 38 ♂♂ (including a holotype) and 33 ♀♀.
