NEPAL: 2 females, same data as in holotype, gen. slide No.: ZSM Arct. 2021 - 451♀ (MWM / ZSM); 1 male, 1 female, Annapurna Himal, 1200m, 1 km N of Syange, 28°24'N 84°25'E, 07.vi.1996, Hreblay & Szaboky leg. (MWM / ZSM); 1 male, Royal Chitwan National Park, Bandarjohala Island, Jungle Island Resort, 27°40'N 84°28'E, 28–30.x.1995, L. Lõkös & L. Smetacek leg., Lf [light trap], gen. slide No.: ZSM Arct. 2021 - 341♂ (MWM / ZSM); 1 male, Sikkim, 2800[m], May [18]95, Pilcher [leg.] / Pilcher coll., Pres. 1917 [by] Mrs Pilcher, gen. slide No.: AV7565 ♂ (OUMNH); 1 female, Sikkim, 5000 ft., Kurseong, v.1922, Mrs Fletcher coll. / Brit. Mus. 1926–142 (NHMUK); MYANMAR: 4 males, 3 females, [Kachin State] 21 km E [of] Putao, Nan Sa Bon Village, 550m, 1–5.v.1998, Murzin & Sinyaev leg., gen. slide Nos: ZSM Arct. 2021 - 343♂, 2021- 344♂, 2021- 453♀ (MWM / ZSM); 1 male, [Kachin State] 25 km E [of] Putao, env. Nan Sa Bon Vill., 800m, 6–9.v.1998, Murzin & Sinyaev leg. (MWM / ZSM). Diagnosis. The forewing length is 12.0–13.0 mm in males and 14.0 mm in females. Teulisna distributa sp. n. is externally indistinguishable from the partially sympatric T. pilcheri sp. n. and the reliable identification requires the examination of the genitalia structures. The male genital capsule of T. distributa sp. n. differs clearly from other similar congeners in the proximally narrower valva, the larger, thorn-shaped pseudoampulla, and the narrower and cylindrical distal saccular process, which is flattened in similar species. The phallus of T. distributa sp. n. is markedly narrower than in other members in the T. protuberans species-group, and the vesica is considerably shorter and globular whereas it has a tubular or saccate main chamber in similar species. In the female genitalia, T. distributa sp. n. is distinguished from other species in the species-group by the narrower ostium bursae, the shorter and weakly sclerotised ductus bursae, and the membranous corpus bursae densely covered with minute spinules posteriorly, whereas in the similar congeners, the corpus bursae has gelatinous areas and sclerotised plates. Distribution. The new species is known from Nepal, North and Northeast India and North Myanmar (Kachin State). Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the wide distribution of the new species. The name is a noun in the nominative singular.
