Hilos PDO vs Ultra V desde una perspectiva científica y de innovación es clave para entender sus beneficios y diferencias

Non-surgical facelifts have evolved thanks to advances in thread lifts, with two main options: PDO (polydioxanone) and Ultra V threads. Each technology offers specific benefits in terms of collagen stimulation, tightening effect, and duration. This narrative review analyzes the characteristics of each thread type, comparing their mechanism of action, clinical applications, and outcomes in aesthetic dermatology. Recent studies supporting their use and efficacy are presented. This study follows a narrative review approach, drawing on recent literature on thread lifts in aesthetic dermatology. Research on the safety, efficacy, and technological evolution of PDO and Ultra V threads was consulted. To ensure a comprehensive analysis, studies were reviewed in scientific databases such as: - “PubMed”, - “SciELO”, - “Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology”, - “Revista Latinoamericana de Dermatología Estética”. Inclusion criteria - Studies on the safety and efficacy of PDO and Ultra V threads. - Clinical trials comparing different methods of non-surgical facelifts. The main limitation is the variability in the results due to differences in application protocols and the patient's skin type.

Abstract

Non-surgical facelifts have evolved thanks to advances in thread lifts, with two main options: PDO (polydioxanone) and Ultra V threads. Each technology offers specific benefits in terms of collagen stimulation, tightening effect, and duration.
