Procesos comunicativos y pedagógicos en las Escuelas de Formación Policial a partir de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación

The objective of this text was to carry out a reflective and analytical exercise on communicational and pedagogical processes mediated by technologies and their interference in the various contexts of social interrelation established by human beings. For this purpose, the mixed approach and descriptive type of research was used, applying an instrument for data collection regarding the epistemic construction of communicology, the communicative process as a network of meaning, the turn towards Information and Communication Technologies. (ICT), its importance in the pedagogical process, the bases for teaching and the main challenges for its use in the police educational context. Regarding the results, it is recognized that teachers have not acquired enough tools for the proper dynamic management of these technological innovations in the classroom. In conclusion, the use of ICT to boost communication and pedagogical processes in police training become excellent work tools to enhance autonomous learning interaction, collaborative teamwork and active participation processes of students in their institutional settings.
