El rostro oculto del fentanilo: “Aproximación fenomenológica a sus efectos sociales y de seguridad"
Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, has emerged as a significant threat to citizen security due to its high potency and dangerousness. Its presence in the illegal market has fueled an increase in violence and crime, with criminal networks competing for control of trafficking and distribution; the proliferation of fentanyl has also triggered an increase in overdose deaths and associated criminality, such as robberies and violent crime. Through a phenomenological study with a qualitative approach, we sought to determine the phenomenological characteristics of the differential use of fentanyl that have a negative impact on the social and security spheres, However, this type of drugs that have medical use, usually take a different course due to the effects and alterations they produce to the central nervous system, which for criminalistics becomes a new challenge when identifying effects, uses and modus operandi of trafficking of this type of drugs.
