Cuidados de enfermería a paciente con diagnóstico de Angina de Ludwing y con manejo de vía aérea avanzado
Objective: A nursing assessment was conducted using Marjory Gordon's Functional Health Patterns on a 61-year-old male patient hospitalized for Ludwig's angina in a tertiary hospital in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, with the aim of creating a care plan with nursing interventions. Methodology: The NANDA-NOC-NIC Taxonomy was used for selecting nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions for the development of the care plan. Main results: Priority needs were identified in the nutritional-metabolic and activity-exercise patterns, for which nursing diagnostic labels such as Impaired response to weaning from mechanical ventilation in adults and Ineffective airway clearance were chosen.
