Ecological restoration has established itself as a key response to environmental degradation and biodiversity loss. The objective of this research was to examine the economics of ecological restoration in 10 projects carried out in different regions and contexts, analyzing their actions, lessons learned and economic benefits. Based on the analysis of these international ecological restoration experiences, concrete cases are presented showing how these initiatives have contributed to restoring degraded habitats and strengthening community resilience. It reflects on persistent challenges and emerging opportunities in terms of financing, public policies and capacity building. The results show strengthening ecological projects not only favor ecosystem recovery but also strengthen local capacities and can translate into direct and indirect economic benefits. The information contained may be useful for students, researchers, policy makers and anyone interested in conservation and sustainable development
