Internet para la Igualdad en la Educación: Conectividad a Telesecundarias Rurales en el Estado de Guerrero

The purpose of this project is to design and implement an internet connection model that works as an alternative to strengthen basic education in telesecundarias located in rural communities. To achieve this, an infrastructure with Ubiquiti technology was used, using radiofrequency antennas in a marginalized rural community in the state of Guerrero, where Internet access is limited and economic conditions are a major challenge. This initiative seeks to promote technological development as a means to improve access to digital education, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. At the same time, it aims to improve communication within the community, fostering more informed, participatory and equitable societies. Internet access not only helps to reduce the digital divide among students, but also allows the general population to take advantage of digital services and fully exercise their right to education. Given the lack of technological infrastructure in these communities, this project represents a viable solution to facilitate the insertion of rural communities in the global digital environment. It also serves as a reference for the design of public policies at the state and federal level, in order to improve educational and pedagogical opportunities in marginalized contexts.
