Patrones de uso tecnológico en estudiantes de Administración de Empresas: caso Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, sede Montería (Colombia)
This article analyzes the patterns of technology use among students in the Business Administration program at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Montería campus. Based on a quantitative and descriptive approach, a structured survey was applied to a sample of 121 students, selected through proportional stratified sampling. The findings reveal a high reliance on mobile phones for academic activities, along with limitations in access to multiple devices and stable internet connections. The study also identified a limited use of academic and specialized sources, highlighting the need to strengthen students’ digital and research skills. Although most students acknowledge the positive impact of technology on their academic training, there are still persistent gaps related to socioeconomic status, connectivity, and prior digital preparation. The study concludes that while technology use offers significant opportunities to enhance teaching and learning processes, its effective and equitable pedagogical integration within the university context is essential.
