Independent Study Internship Reflection: Unprecedented Results of Precedent Times

Interning with Senator Chris Murphy this past spring was truly an eye-opening experience to the functions and limitations of Senate offices, as well as being one of my most transformative experiences for my educational and professional development. I am walking away from this experience with a concrete understanding of how the emotions of constituents and politics are inherently intertwined.
