El Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje como Herramienta Pedagógica en la Educación Inclusiva
Educational approaches promote equity and the transformation of Universal Design for Learning as an essential tool for promoting inclusive education in educational learning environments. Therefore, the research topic is based on Universal Design for Learning as a pedagogical tool that guarantees access to quality education for all students regardless of their differences, allowing for the reduction of differences in abilities and the context in which they operate. Therefore, Universal Design for Learning allows for flexible curricula so that students have the opportunity to interact with their peers and avoid imposed barriers that society has created over time. The objective is to analyze educational environments that support student engagement regardless of their disabilities or learning styles. This is achieved through the three principles and guidelines of Universal Design for Learning in inclusive education. This study is a systematic review of the literature covering four countries: Ecuador, the United States, Spain, and Mexico. The results are based on how technological advances improve educational quality and, in some cases, address the digital divide and the lack of training for teachers in educational institutions. In conclusion, this is an innovative systematic model, combined with Assistive Technology, to improve the adaptations implemented for students with and without educational support, ensuring the construction of enriching learning environments and ensuring the role of teachers committed to the school system, overcoming obstacles to learning.
