Prácticas de Prevención del Dengue en los Alumnos del Instituto Salvador Allende Gossens en el Año 2024

The present study analyzes the level of knowledge and dengue prevention practices among students of the Salvador Allende Gossens Institute in the year 2024. In light of the increase in dengue cases in the state of Guerrero, the study aims to understand how students perceive the disease and apply preventive measures in their homes. Using a qualitative approach and a descriptive cross-sectional design, structured surveys were conducted to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical actions implemented by the students. Additionally, the main sources of information used were examined, and national and international background information was reviewed to contextualize the phenomenon. The findings will help strengthen health education strategies within the institution and promote greater awareness among the student community about the importance of dengue prevention.
