Modelo Análisis Local de Identificación para la Atención de Necesidades Básicas y Zonas de Acción Social (ALIANZAS)

ALIANZAS (Local Analysis of Identification for Basic Needs Attention and Social Action Zones) is a methodological framework that provides timely, detailed, and geographically-referenced information for designing strategies aimed at improving population well-being. Its objective is to address persistent poverty, inequality, and social deprivation within complex environments. The framework is structured around five key tools: the Government Presence Index, DESTINO-MX, RUMBO, IGUALA, and RADAR. These tools collectively offer strategic information across various domains of governmental action. The Government Presence Index quantifies the impact of public programs on household income, categorizing effects as positive, negative, or non-quantifiable. DESTINO-MX identifies and classifies subnational development potential by integrating economic, social, institutional, and territorial factors. Building upon DESTINO-MX data, RUMBO identifies areas with high potential for sustainable tourism development. IGUALA assesses the economic conditions of women at the municipal level, considering their economic participation, educational attainment, and material vulnerability. Finally, RADAR provides demographic and economic context for interpreting ALIANZAS results, utilizing official variables to contextualize regions. Together, these tools form a robust system for evidence-based policy formulation geared towards enhancing social welfare.
