Analyzing Domestic Violence Act
Abstract The domestic violence is a grave violation of human rights, often occurring in secrecy within householdsThe paper discusses how perpetrators exert control over victims through fear, intimidation, and physical abuse. While the primary focus of the Act is on protecting the rights of women and children, the study also examines the wider social, legal, and economic aspects of domestic violence, including the experiences of non-binary children. It assesses how well current laws address these issues and highlights the importance of implementing supportive non-legal strategies to safeguard vulnerable individuals within the household.
