The Magnetic Blueprint of Rainbows
This paper introduces the Wilcox Rainbow Vibration Potential (RVP) framework, proposing that rainbows are emergent electromagnetic coherence phenomena rather than purely optical effects. Using Magnetic Information Density (MID) and phase coherence as the foundation, the RVP model explains anomalies in rainbow physics—including angular drift, clarity variation, and double banding—without relying on classical refraction. A coherence threshold constant, κ_rainbow, is defined to predict when structured rainbow bands form. The framework includes experimental proposals using ELF fields and observational correlations with geomagnetic activity, offering a measurable, falsifiable approach to understanding rainbows as organized atmospheric electromagnetic structures. This work situates rainbows within the broader context of EM-driven atmospheric phenomena and provides a testable model for their formation and variability. ---
