Current status and trends in research on root perforation in endodontics: a metrics-based analysis

The bibliometric review aims to provide a global overview of the current status and emerging trends in research on root perforation in endodontics. This study will include scientific articles that investigate the root perforation in Endodontics. Electronic searches will be conducted in Web of Science (WoS-CC) to identify relevant articles, with reference lists and expert contacts used to find additional studies. No time or language restrictions will apply. The screening process will be carried out in two phases by two independent reviewers, who will first assess the eligibility of studies based on titles and abstracts, then confirm eligibility through full-text reading. Disagreements will be resolved by a third reviewer. If data is missing or unclear, the corresponding author will be contacted for clarification.
