IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL (AI) INTELLIGENCE ON DECISION-MAKING IN AN ORGANISATION

The study focuses on The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Decision-Making in an organisation, using a case study of Fidelity Bank Auchi Branch. The study is carried out with the primary objective, to assess the impact of AI on decision-making efficiency, to evaluate AI’s role in reducing human errors in business decisions making and to determine AI’s effectiveness in risk management and strategic planning. The study was conducted with a total population of 22 employees across the various departments of the bank, a sample size of 21 employees was selected using The Taro Yamane Formula. The study utilized statistical tools such as regression analysis, correlation analysis, and hypothesis testing to measure its data. The findings reveal that AI enhances decision efficiency by 40%, reduces human error by 35%, and improves risk assessment capabilities by 50%. With this study being carried out, one can conclude by saying, the usage of Ai in the banking sector, has in no small way increase the efficiency of staff in the organisation, and has contributed to the immense growth of the organisation at large. The study recommends the integration of ethical AI frameworks, continuous employee training, and a hybrid AI-human decision-making model. Future research should explore AI’s impact across different industries and its long-term effects on workforce adaptability Keywords: Artificial intelligence (AI), decision-Making, organizations, predictive analytics.
