Discovery of the Fine Structure Constant in Base-3 Geometry: The Isam Tayyar Formula
This paper presents the Isam Tayyar Formula, a novel mathematical expression for the fine structure constant using base-3 geometry with a 729-unit circle: α⁻¹ = 729/(3√3 + 1/(9·sin(3^(1/10)))) This formula achieves remarkable agreement with the experimental value (137.034494 vs 137.035999), with only 0.0011% error. The formula is named in honor of my brother, Isam Tayyar. The discovery suggests that fundamental physical constants may have more elegant expressions in alternative mathematical frameworks, particularly base-3 geometry where the circle is divided into 729 (3^6) units rather than 360 degrees or 2π radians.
