Adaptación de Scrum al desarrollo de software cuántico: Un artículo de revisión metodológica
Quantum software development represents an emerging challenge that requires new management and production strategies. The direct application of agile methodologies such as Scrum encounters limitations when transferred to contexts dominated by scientific uncertainty, restricted access to specialized hardware, and collaboration among diverse technical disciplines. This article aims to analyze how Scrum can be adapted to the quantum development environment while preserving its core principles and addressing the particularities of the domain. A qualitative, descriptive methodology was used, based on a review of scientific literature and analysis of documented industry cases, particularly from companies like IBM. Key findings include the need to redefine the notion of deliverables in each sprint, introduce flexible iterative planning through the inclusion of exploration activities (spikes), and enhance multidisciplinary communication by adjusting Scrum roles and artifacts. The results suggest that, with appropriate adaptations, Scrum can not only be applied but also become a strategic tool to accelerate the incremental development of quantum solutions, reduce technical risks, and strengthen the integration between scientific discovery and product development.
