Implementación de SIG para el análisis espacial de sistemas agroforestales y su impacto ambiental en el Centro Experimental -CEIPA-U.E. A

The implementation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) at the CEIPA Experimental Center of the Amazon State University (UEA) enables spatial analysis of agroforestry systems and assessment of their environmental impact. This study aims to develop a tool that facilitates the management and conservation of natural resources in the Amazon region. ARCMAP 10.5 and Microsoft Excel 2016 software were used to create a relational database integrating topographic, hydrological, geological, climatic, and socioeconomic information. The results obtained show that the GIS enhances efficiency in decision-making related to territorial planning and sustainable resource management. Furthermore, it strengthens CEIPA's capacity to respond to environmental emergencies and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration. This project contributes to the sustainable development of the Amazon region and serves as a model for other institutions dedicated to environmental research and conservation.
