La definición de desmonte en Argentina y su impacto en las exportaciones frente al Reglamento 1115/2023 UE sobre productos libres de deforestación

Deforestation and land clearing pose significant environmental challenges that necessitate effective regulatory responses. This paper examines the role of the concept of land clearing as regulated under Argentina's Native Forest Law No. 26,331 in Argentine exports, along with the various definitions established in the European Union's Regulation 1115/2023 on deforestation-free products. Furthermore, it highlights the significance of land clearing in meeting the standards imposed by the EU.
