Metodologías Innovadoras para el Desarrollo de Competencias Digitales en Docentes a través de la Inteligencia Artificial

This review article aims to analyze innovative methodologies applied in teacher training for the development of digital competencies, with special emphasis on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational contexts. The methodology used was a systematic review based on the PRISMA guidelines, which allowed the identification, selection, and analysis of 25 relevant academic studies published between 2017 and 2024. The categories of analysis included: digital competencies in teachers, innovative methodologies, and AI applications in education. The main findings reveal that active methodologies such as project-based learning and adaptive learning, when integrated with AI tools, significantly enhance the development of digital competencies. Additionally, barriers such as training gaps and resistance to pedagogical change were identified. It is concluded that the strategic implementation of AI in teacher training not only strengthens digital literacy but also transforms educational practices towards more personalized, collaborative, and effective models. This review provides a theoretical and practical foundation for designing training policies that meet the demands of the 21st century.
