Gamificación como Estrategia Innovadora para la Enseñanza de Gramática en Inglés

This article analyzes the impact of gamified strategies in teaching English grammar, based on a documentary review of national, regional, and international studies. Relevant antecedents and a theoretical framework rooted in the constructivist approach and the communicative model were addressed, highlighting the importance of gamification as an innovative tool to foster active learning, student motivation, and the development of communicative competencies. The findings reveal that gamified strategies increase motivation, autonomy, and interaction in the classroom, transforming learning into a dynamic and meaningful process. However, limitations related to insufficient teacher training, limited access to technology, and the need for systematic evaluation of these methodologies in diverse contexts were also identified. The discussion suggests that gamified strategies, when applied in a contextualized and adaptive manner, have the potential to significantly improve pedagogical practices and learning outcomes. Nonetheless, the need for future research to address the identified gaps and develop sustainable and inclusive models is emphasized. This study contributes to the design of innovative strategies in English language teaching, focusing on meaningful and contextual learning.
