Percepción de Satisfacción Médica sobre Resultados Gerenciales en un Hospital Público Ecuatoriano durante el 2024
This study examines the perception of medical staff at the General Hospital located in Ecuador, regarding hospital management outcomes during 2024. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional design was employed, applying a structured survey based on the SERVQUAL and PSQ-III models to a representative sample of 90 physicians. The findings highlight several positive aspects of institutional management: a favorable perception of internal communication (80% of participants strongly agreed), recognition of leadership as a promoter of professional well-being (75% strongly agreed), and a positive view of continuous training, especially among those with more stable contracts. These findings align with international literature, which emphasizes the role of transformational leadership, effective communication, and ongoing professional development as essential factors in improving healthcare quality and job satisfaction. In contrast with previous studies that report structural deficiencies in public hospitals across Latin America, hospital demonstrates notable progress toward an institutional culture centered on well-being and continuous improvement. The study concludes that effective human resource management, when guided by inclusive and participatory policies, becomes a strategic axis for achieving efficient and sustainable hospital performance.
