Irritación Respiratoria por Escaso Uso de Mascarilla en Trabajadores Agrícolas de 35-40 Años, Guayas 2023

This research focused on the incorrect use of the mask and its relationship with respiratory irritation in agricultural workers in the province of guayas. It focused on the growing health concerns of farm workers exposed to chemicals, particularly pesticides, which are widely used in agriculture. The overall objective of this research was to analyze the relationship between low mask use and respiratory irritation in agricultural workers exposed to pesticides. A qualitative methodology was developed, with a correlational approach and non-experimental design, in order to acquire information ina structured way through the application of surveys, since it provides empirical data to validate the samples of the 50 agricultural workers of the province of guayas. The result was that 35% of agricultural workers stressed the need to address and reduce the rate of respiratory diseases that occur in the agricultural field, in this sense take protective measures such as the use of masks, this includes training on the correct use of personal protective equipment, since information is key to the prevention of respiratory diseases in workers.
