Fluidoterapia guiada por objetivos en el periodo perioperatorio en cirugías abdominales: un scoping review de estudios prospectivos
Intraoperative management depends on fluid intake based on hemodynamic parameters, to reduce postoperative complications. Objective: To map the available evidence on goal-guided fluid therapy in the perioperative period in abdominal surgeries. Methodology: Based on the PRISMA-ScR model, and Arksey and O'Malley, a search was performed in the Scopus database, applying the eligibility criteria. Only 14 prospective studies were included, information was extracted, and the results were presented thematically. Results: Gastrectomies and colorectal surgeries were the surgical procedures that most frequently applied goal-guided fluid therapy. FloTrac/Vigileo, esophageal Doppler are commonly used for advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Goal-guided fluid therapy can improve hemodynamic parameters, reducing intraoperative stress, postoperative infectious complications and shortening hospital stay. The results are positive; however, homogeneous studies and standardized criteria are needed for a more detailed analysis.
