Hyperdimensional Adaptive Differentiation Control (HADC) for Enhanced Safety and Efficiency in Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell (hiPSC) Neural Differentiation

**Abstract:** Traditional methods for hiPSC neural differentiation often suffer from variability in final cell type composition and potential for teratoma formation due to incomplete differentiation. This proposal introduces a novel, data-driven approach, Hyperdimensional Adaptive Differentiation Control (HADC), leveraging hyperdimensional computing and reinforcement learning to precisely control differentiation trajectories, enhancing both differentiation efficiency and safety. HADC dynamically adjusts media composition and stimulation protocols based on continuous monitoring of cellular state, represented as high-dimensional vectors. This system promises a significant improvement over current protocols, enabling highly reproducible and safe generation of specific neural subtypes. We predict a 30-50% increase in targeted neural subtype yield and a 5x reduction in teratoma risk compared to standard differentiation techniques, with a potential market value exceeding $5 billion within five years primarily driven by personalized medicine and drug discovery.
