The Unified Master Equation: A Dimensionless Constant α = 1.5 as the Foundation for a Theory of Everything
We propose a unified master equation in which all four fundamental interactions—gravitation, electromagnetism, the strong and the weak force—arise from a single principle: the imbalance Δ = C − E between contraction (C) and expansion (E). A key result is the identification of a new dimensionless universal constant, α ≈ 1.5, representing a 60:40 strength ratio of contraction to expansion. Like other constants of nature such as c, ħ, or the fine-structure constant, α is introduced axiomatically, and its justification lies in the fact that it consistently reproduces key cosmological observations, including the dark matter–dark energy balance. The framework recovers Newtonian and Einsteinian gravity, relativistic kinematics, nuclear binding, and quantum field interactions as limiting cases, while offering a consistent treatment of quantum gravity. Particle masses and charges emerge from Δ, and cosmological acceleration is explained by the surplus of expansion energy. Unlike classical general relativity, the framework avoids singularities by embedding gravitation consistently within a quantum field structure, thereby providing a self-consistent theory of quantum gravity. Unlike standard approaches, the framework is background independent, with spacetime emerging dynamically from the contraction–expansion balance. Proposed experimental tests range from laboratory-scale measurements (atomic clocks, short-range forces) to astrophysical and cosmological observations (gravitational waves, structure growth, expansion history). Together these features position the master equation as a promising candidate for a unified Theory of Everything.
