Usage of Nutricosmetic on Hair in Selected Samples of Puducherry
Abstract This study examines the effect of nutricosmetics on hair health among women aged 20–30 in Puducherry, with a focus on both internal and external applications. A structured survey was conducted with 100 randomly selected female participants using a Google Form. The findings revealed that women who regularly used nutricosmetics such as biotin, collagen, omega fatty acids, herbal oils, and home remedies reported noticeable improvements in hair growth, strength, and texture, along with a reduction in hair fall and dryness. Urban participants showed higher usage and satisfaction levels. The study concludes that both internal and external nutricosmetic practices contribute positively to hair health and highlights the need for informed and consistent use to achieve optimal results.
