Adolescent Reproductive Health Program And Parents Involvement In Davao Central District Schools

The study assessed the extent of implementation of the Adolescent Reproductive Health Program and its association with parental involvement among schools in the Davao Central District, Davao City Division. This study employed a non-experimental descriptive-correlational research design, utilizing an adapted survey instrument to gather responses from randomly selected respondents. The data gathered were treated using Mean scores with descriptive interpretation, Pearson's r, and simple linear regression analysis. Findings revealed that the extent of implementation of the Adolescent Reproductive Health Program, in terms of monitoring, implementation, planning, and adjustments, is extensive, and the extent of parental involvement in the implementation of the Adolescent Reproductive Health Program, in terms of commitment, communication, and collaboration, is moderately extensive among Schools in the Davao Central District. There is a significant relationship between the implementation of the Adolescent Reproductive Health Program and parental involvement. Adolescent Reproductive Health Program, such as communication, collaboration, and commitment, indicated statistically significant to influence parental involvement. Good practices may be sustained in intensifying the implementation of Adolescent Reproductive Health Program through collaboration among teachers and to their respective schools to do the same and continuously improved themselves.
