Moral Sins as Biological Dysregulation: A White Medicine Perspective
Abstract: Traditional moral systems describe envy, greed, lying, anger, lust, laziness, and other traits as “sins.” Modern science, however, increasingly reveals biological and psychological substrates behind these behaviors. This article introduces a new integrative framework derived from the book White Medicine (Pezeshki Sefid), where so-called “sins” are reframed as manifestations of hormonal, neural, and frequency dysregulation. By mapping classical moral categories onto neuroendocrine pathways (dopamine, cortisol, serotonin, thyroid hormones, insulin), psychological wounds, and frequency codes, White Medicine provides a therapeutic model that unites biology, psychology, and moral philosophy. The implications are profound: rather than treating “sin” only as a moral failure, it can be approached as a treatable condition across physical, psychological, and energetic layers.
