Review Article on Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) With Rubber

Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) represents a breakthrough in concrete technology, enabling placement without mechanical vibration while maintaining excellent workability, strength, and durability. The incorporation of rubber-typically crumb rubber from waste tires-as a partial replacement for conventional aggregates presents an innovative solution for sustainable construction. This review explores recent research trends, mix design strategies, mechanical and durability properties, and the challenges and future prospects of using rubber in SCC.
