Templated from The Predictive Effect of Employees’ Networking Behavior on Work Meaningfulness: A Chain Mediation Model
In the era of digitalization, enhancing employees' work meaningfulness have become critical issues in corporate management. Grounded in Conservation of Resources Theory (COR), this study examines the effect of networking behavior on employees' work meaningfulness, using two-wave matched data from 503 employee surveys. Structural equation modeling and path analysis reveal that networking behavior positively effects work meaningfulness both directly and indirectly, through chain mediators of job embeddedness and role breadth self-efficacy (RBSE). These findings contribute to the theoretical understanding of work meaningfulness and offer practical insights for corporate managers and policymakers seeking to enhance employees' work meaningfulness in the digital era.
