Columbia blancoi Rolfe 1884

Columbia blancoi Rolfe (1884: 308) ≡ Columbia floribunda Naves (1880: 30), no Kurz ≡ Colona serratifolia var. blancoi (Rolfe) Kuntze (1891: 82) ≡ Colona blancoi (Rolfe) Merrill (1903: 17). Type (lectotype, designated here):— PHILIPPINES. Luzon Island, “ Columbia floribunda Wall. Hooker = Columbia anilao var. ligno fusco Blanco ”, Tab. CCCXII [t. 132] (illustration no. 132 by Naves, published in Blanco Flora de Filipinas ed.3: 1877–1883). Rolfe (1884) published the new name Columbia blancoi based on illustration no. 132 of Naves (1880), without citing any other material. Furthermore, Naves (1880) does not mention the herbarium material used for illustration no. 132, making it impossible to identify the original herbarium specimen associated with the name C. blancoi. For these reasons, in accordance with Arts. 9.3 and 9.4 of the ICN, is designate here the illustration no.132 by Naves as the lectotype of Colona blancoi.
