PERBANDINGAN PENGARUH MEDIA PENDINGIN PADA PROSES PENGECORAN ALUMINIUM LIMBAH PISTON DAN FOOTSTEP TERHADAP NILAI KEKERASAN

This study aims to determine the results of the comparison of the impact hardness value of aluminum casting waste pistons with footstep. The cooling media used are mineral water, vegetable oil, oil. From the results of the comparison of the composition test of intact piston waste and piston waste melting, the chemical composition test of intact piston waste is higher by 0.36%. While the results of the chemical composition test of intact footstep and melted footstep, the results of the chemical composition test of footstep melting are higher by 10.55%. The results of the statistical test, the calculated F value (1.131967002) is lower than the critical value of the F table. In addition, the significance value (P) is greater than the predetermined significance level (0.05). Based on these results, the null hypothesis (H₀) is accepted, which means that there is no statistically significant difference between the average impact values of samples with different cooling processes.
