Spontaneous Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak in the Lateral Recess of the Sphenoid Sinus: A Systematic Review of Treatment and Anatomical Characteristics

The project of a systematic review that will report on Spontaneous Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak in the Lateral Recess of the Sphenoid Sinus, focusing on the treatment, anatomical characteristics and demographycs. We expect to find relations between the type of treatment and the occurrence of complications and the recurrence, the degree of pneumatization and the occurence of cerebrospinal fistula and also demographyc relations.

Abstract

The project of a systematic review that will report on Spontaneous Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak in the Lateral Recess of the Sphenoid Sinus, focusing on the treatment, anatomical characteristics and demographycs. We expect to find relations between the type of treatment and the occurrence of complications and the recurrence, the degree of pneumatization and the occurence of cerebrospinal fistula and also demographyc relations.
