Features of expressing the principle of politeness in the Chinese language (based on Chinese internet comments)

The article is devoted to the analysis of the use of the principle of politeness in Chinese Internet communication, realized with the help of 5 maxims: humiliation of oneself to demonstrate respect for the interlocutor; use of appropriate addresses; good manners; striving for unity and harmony; decency of speech and behavior. As a result of the anal-ysis, the following characteristics inherent in Chinese politeness were identified: 1) a high degree of modesty; 2) exaltation of the personality of the partner; 3) self-abasement; 4) consideration of social hierarchy; 5) compliance with the norms of speech etiquette, etc
