Protocol for a Scoping Review on Sharia-Based Service Management in Hospitals: Dimensions, Indicators, and Policy Landscape

This protocol was developed for a scoping review of Sharia-based service management in hospitals. The review will focus on mapping dimensions, subdimensions, and indicators relevant to Sharia health services, as well as related policies. Based on an initial literature review and previous studies, no comprehensive managerial taxonomy of Sharia services in hospital institutions has been compiled. Therefore, this study aims to address this gap in the literature by identifying the conceptual and regulatory structure of Sharia-based hospital service management. The protocol uses the PCC (Population-Concept-Context) framework, a systematic search strategy across five major databases and national policy sources, and an independent article selection process based on the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The review's final result is expected to be a conceptual and regulatory map that can serve as the basis for developing Sharia-based hospital service management guidelines applicable in Indonesia and other Muslim-majority countries.
