EasyRaft : Räddning när vattnet stiger - en kompakt flotte för extrema förhållanden

Flooding in urban environments has become an increasing problem in light of ongoing climate change. Traditional rescue equipment is often inadequate in densely populated areas, making evacuation during floods difficult. This creates a need for new solutions specifically adapted to such conditions. This project was carried out in collaboration with Germa AB with the aim of developing a portable rescue raft for use in flooding. The result is a concept called EasyRaft, a simple and rapid-deployment rescue raft designed to be transported by a maximum of two people and capable of carrying four people during use. EasyRaft is primarily intended for emergency services and serves as a complement to existing equipment. By offering a solution for complex environments where every second counts, EasyRaft can help save lives and strengthen society’s preparedness for water-related natural disasters.
