Intellectual Peace Theory
Intellectual Peace Theory focuses on the cognitive and reflective dimensions of the self, where consciousness synthesizes instinctual, emotional, and social inputs into structured thought, reasoning, and knowledge. It explores how peace and conflict emerge at the intellectual level, proposing that intellectual harmony develops when diverse perspectives coexist, contradictions are integrated, and rigid ideologies are avoided. The theory contrasts the Ring of Peace—where conflicting ideas foster learning, creativity, and collective growth—with the Cycle of Violence, characterized by dogmatism, suppression of diversity, and fragmentation of thought. Through an Ownviewist lens, Intellectual Peace Theory demonstrates that intellectual mastery, curiosity, and integration are not only personal achievements but also essential for societal resilience, governance, and sustainable conflict resolution. By linking internal cognitive processes with external social outcomes, the theory provides a framework for understanding how thought can either generate division or cultivate cooperation and evolution.
