Automated Mitochondrial Network Optimization for Enhanced Respiratory Chain Efficiency via Reinforcement Learning and Multi-Scale Modeling
**Abstract:** This paper introduces a novel methodology for optimizing mitochondrial network dynamics and respiratory chain (RC) efficiency in the context of mitochondrial dysfunction, specifically targeting structural and functional impairments. Leveraging a combination of multi-scale modeling, reinforcement learning (RL), and quantitative data analysis, we present a system capable of autonomously adapting mitochondrial network architecture and RC enzyme activity to mitigate the impact of pathological conditions. Our approach demonstrates a significant potential for accelerating drug discovery and personalized therapeutic interventions for a range of mitochondrial diseases.
